Cool. I hope so, too. I'm stoked you're a Kiwi, too. Despite it being published by a UK publisher, having a NZ writer with a NZ cover illustrator makes it 100% Kiwi, which is SUPER!

No just photos - yes the leather looks a bit procedural If thats what you're thinking. Texture and bump are a bit too even and the edge needs to be broken up a bit. Zbrush was used to get the hammered metal look zb4 has some super new polish brushes that are good for this effect.
